Alan Bond lives in Edinburgh and works from NMR studio/Out of the Blue.

He was formerly based in London where he founded the gallery, Seven Seven Contemporary Art. The gallery had strong international links working with public museums and private galleries in Europe. Earlier he worked as a part-time lecturer in a number of English art schools and provided workshops for design and branding companies. He has also worked on set design and production for major London venues and festivals worldwide. Alan Bond is a co-opted council member of the Scottish Society of Artists.
