Horsa Greenhouse

Acrylic, chalk and charcoal on paper

I made this drawing after visiting the Army Flying Museum on Salisbury Plain. they have the nose cone of a Horsa. A rarity as they were one-use aircraft. I took measurements and eventually made a full size copy, and had the information I needed for this drawing.

I have a memory of seeing such a greenhouse when I was a small boy, but maybe I just imagined it.

I liked the idea of "swords into plough shares"
