A modernist interpretation of 'Lodge', based onthe neo-classical gatehouses at Regents Park , London. In this minimal version, the four entrances result in colliding doors that fill the interior space and require the public to negotiate with others in order to transit through the building. Torhaus was strategically positioned at the entrance to the Galleries.
