Alan Bond lives in Edinburgh and works from St Margaret’s House Studios. He was formerly based in London where he founded the gallery, Seven Seven Contemporary Art. The gallery had strong international links and was affiliated with Continental Breakfast, an association of mainly Central European public and private galleries. Earlier he worked as a part-time lecturer in a number of English art schools and provided workshops for design and branding companies. He has also worked on set design and production for major venues and festivals. Alan Bond is a council member of the Scottish Society of Artists.
